
PEARL - Two members and one former member of the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Colettes have been selected to the Mississippi Braves Diamond Dancers.
Selected to the team are from left, Mallory Mills of Brookhaven, Carrie Bishop of Richland (former Colette), and Leslie Guyton of Brandon. The Mississippi Braves Diamond Dancers is an elite semi-professional dance team directed by Maya Hayes, owner of StarFire Productions and former Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader. In addition to performing live at the games, the Diamond Dancers will also be making promotional appearances in the community as will as participate in various charity events. The upcoming 2010 season is the first year of the Diamond Dancers dance team. Dancers were auditioned in dance and speaking skills. Selection was based on dedication, enthusiasm, attitude, personality, dancing skills, and appearance.
