• The first player drafted out of Louisiana in the 2000 Major League Baseball draft was Co-Lin signee Matt Peterson (New York Mets).

• Brandon Belanger was 1999 First Team NCAA All-American as a closer at Tulane.

• During the 2000 NJCAA World Series, Co-Lin's Nook Logan and Edison Lee were named All-Tournament.
