WESSON - The Co-Lin Wolves snapped a 4 game losing streak as they romped past East Central 90-59 in South Division action. The Wolves improve to 6-9 overall, 1-4 in the South Division. East Central falls to 1-13 overall, 1-4 in the division.
The Wolves cruised to a 40-24 at halftime behind Mike Buffalo's 12 first half points. Buffalo finished the game with 16 points as five Wolves scored in double figures for the first time this season.
Co-Lin's inside game proved to be too much for the Warriors as they out-rebounded East Central 40-23 and out-scored them in the paint 54-24. The Wolves shot a blistering 59 percent in the second half (20-of-34) and finished at 55 percent (37-of-67) for the game.
Freshman sharp-shooter Jay Case got hot in the second half scoring 14 points, including 4-of-6 from behind the arc. Case finished with 16 points. Fred Fairman posted a double-double scoring 12 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. Anthony Davis added 14 points, dished out 6 assists and made 3 steals. Chris Miller came off the bench to score a career-high 11 points. Maurice Williams had 10 rebounds and 4 assists.
Hakeem Wesley scored a game-high 17 points for the Warriors. Jontrae Conley came in off the bench to chip in 11 points.
