Wolves suffer tough loss at Coahoma

CLARKSDALE - The Wolves suffered a tough 73-70 at the hands of the Coahoma Tigers. Co-Lin falls to 8-13 on the season. The Wolves will be on the road again on Monday when they travel to East Central in Decatur for a South Division game. Coahoma led 35-31 at halftime.

The Wolves would rally in the second half to tie the game at 54-all with 9:09 left to play. They built a 66-59 lead at the 4:23 mark. But the Tigers outscored Co-Lin 13-5 in the final 4 minutes and hit of the game to capture the win.

With 1:29 remaining, Co-Lin had a 68-66 when Coahoma's Stacey Regular sank two free throws to tie the game at 68-all. Cordaryl Campbell and Alex Thompson added two more free throws apiece to seal the victory.

Freshman Jay Case led Co-Lin with 19 points. Mike Buffalo was the only other Co-Lin player in double figures with 11 points.

Rashad Harris led four Tigers in double digits with 19 points. Campell followed with 16, Thompson with 13, Cortavious Vaughn with 11, and Regular with 10.
