UTICA - Jasmine James and Keosha Bradley combined for 40 points to lead the Lady Wolves to a 80-68 South Division win over the Hinds Lady Bulldogs. Co-Lin improves to 16-3 overall and remain undefeated in the South Division at 9-0.

After a sluggish start, the Lady Wolves went on a 13-4 run with 4 minutes left in the first half and took a 42-35 lead into the locker room.

Co-Lin added to their lead in the opening minutes of the second half taking a 60-45 lead with 12:30 remaining. Hinds would try and rally pulling within 10 at 60-50 with 11:00 minutes left. With 3:45 minutes to go, the Lady Wolves built a 74-58 lead.

"We played well in spurts," said Co-Lin head coach Gwyn Young. "Keosha shot the ball really well tonight. Jasmine (James) and Vintrice played well in spurts. It's hard to get a win at Hinds. They always play us tough."

Co-Lin's bench came up big again as they outscored Hinds 29-4. The Lady Wolves shot 44 percent from the field.

James posted her second double-double as she led the Lady Wolves on the backboards with 12 rebounds to go along with her 22 points. Bradley was 6-for-8 from 3-point range for her 18 points. Vintrice Briggs came off the bench to score 14 points. Chanta Poole chipped in 10 points and dished out 6 assists.

Kenya Wright led four Lady Bulldogs in double figures with 20 points. Shelley Griffith followed with 16 and Kalandra Willis had 14. Raven Hubbard posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Co-Lin will host Gulf Coast on Monday. Watch live at www.colinathletics.com or listen on WMJU 104.3 FM in Brookhaven.
