CLARKSDALE - The Lady Wolves held off a Coahoma rally to take a 62-57 non-division win. Co-Lin improves to 18-3 overall on the season. The Lady Wolves resume South Division play on Monday as they travel to East Central. Tip off is at 6 p.m. Listen live at www.colinathletics.com and WMJU 104.3 FM in Brookhaven.
The Lady Wolves held a 27-17 halftime lead.
Co-Lin extended their lead to 20 points with 16:06 remaining the second half. But the Lady Tigers fought their back as they trailed by 58-53 with 41 seconds remaing. But that's as close as they would get.
Sophomore Keosha Bradley led the way for the Lady Wolves with a team-high 19 points. Chanta Poole followed with 16 and Tiffany Sims with 10.
For Coahoma, Clara Morgan had a game-high 24 points. Shakyla Jones was the only other Lady Tiger in double figures with 13 points.
