WESSON – Copiah-Lincoln Community College defensive back Dehendret Collins has been National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Second Team All-American.
Collins, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound sophomore from Meadville, has been a two-year starter for the Wolfpack. He accounted for 39 tackles (30 solo, 9 assists) and was second in the state in interceptions with 6. Collins was named NJCAA All-Region 23 and Mississippi Association of Community & Junior College (MACJC) First Team All-State. He was a second-team, All-MACJC South Division performer in 2010.
