SCOTTSBORO, Alabama - Sophomore Bennett Ruschewski of Benton finished tied for 66th in the NJCAA National Golf Tournament held at Goose Pond Colony in Scottsboro, AL.
Ruschewski shot a four-day total of 307 (77-80-72-79). Teammate Keaton Stamps finished the tournament tied for 101st with a four-day total of 318 (82-75-80-81). The freshman from Carson will be returning to the Wolfpack next season.
Ruschewski shot an even par 72 in the third round of the tournament.
Filip Timmerman of John A. Logan (IL) ran away with the tournament with a 280 (72-69-71-68) seven shots ahead of three second place finishers. Mississippi Gulf Coast finished the tournament tied for 12th.
John A. Logan took the team title at 1153, 12 shots ahead of second place finisher South Mountain (AZ).
