WESSON – Nicholas Cobb of Madison shot a final round of 76 to take the overall title of the Mississippi/Louisiana Junior Golf Championship at Wolf Hollow Golf Club. Cobb, who also won Division B, finished with a two-day total of 147 (71-76) two shots ahead of runner-up Noah Hill of Calhoun City (74-75 – 149).
John Polk Dumas of Brandon finished third with a 151 (76-75).
Capturing the top honor in Division A was Patrick Dickson of Mt. Olive with a 153 (77-76) followed by Conner Barnes of Prentiss and Tait Darby of Olive Branch with a 156 (79-77).
Andy Ogletree of Little Rock, AR, took first place in Division C with a 144 (73-71) one shot ahead of Griffin Agent of Madison at 145 (72-73). Taking third place was Charlie Miller of Jackson at 149 (74-75).
Capturing first place in Division D was Jack Gnam of Ridgeland at 82 (40-42). Jacob Anderson of Prentiss took second at 98 (45-53) and Parker Daily of Jackson took third at 99 (52-47).
In Division G, Conner Beth Ball of Madison took the top honor at 151 (73-78) followed by Hope Biggs of Clinton at 163 (81-82). Jeshana Johnson of Madison shot 178 (92-86) to take third place.
