POPLARVILLE - Pearl River forward Pacer Frierson scored three of his team’s four goals in the 4-0 shutout of the Wolfpack. Co-Lin (1-4, 0-1) travels to Holmes on Tuesday to take on the Bulldogs. Action begins at 3 p.m.
The freshman forward from Picayune Memorial High gave the Wildcats a 1-0 lead at the 34:54 mark of the first half. James Zanelli of Essex, U.K., scored the Wildcat's second goal at the 13:58 mark to give the Wildcats a 2-0 lead at the intermission.
Frierson’s two other goals came at the 26:38 and 16:41 (free kick) marks of the second half.
