DECATUR - Nikki Marbury scored a goal in the closing minutes to give the Lady Wolves a 3-2 win over the East Central Lady Warriors. The Lady Wolves (2-0) travel to Fulton to take on the Itawamba Lady Indians on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
Marbruy, a sophomore from Florence, scored the games first goal to give the Lady Wolves a 1-0 lead. The game was tied at 1-all at halftime as East Central's Kelsey Tadlock scored.
In the second half, freshman Shellie Smith of Brookhaven put the Lady Wolves up 2-1. Tadlock scored her second goal of the game to tie the game at 2-all.
