WESSON - Head coach Allen Kent and the Lady Wolves have signed nine players for the 2013 season. The group includes three pitchers, three infielders, two outfielders and one catcher.
Signees include shortstop Erica Bridwell of Brookhaven High School, infielder Kayla Craft and pitcher Brooke Gonzales, both of Live Oak (LA) High School; pitcher outfielder Makenzie Rials of Wesson High School, pitcher Meghan Johnson, catcher Katie Berry, and outfielders Morgan Brown and Elizabeth Cliburn, all of Copiah Academy; and infielder Beth Fortenberry of Natchez Cathedral.
The Lady Wolves are coming off a 24-28 season in 2011. They attended the NJCAA Division II Tournament in 2006 (third place) and 2008 (runners-up).
