WESSON - The Co-Lin Wolfpack upset No. 13 ranked Hinds Community College 5-4 and handed East Central a 7-2 loss in recent tennis action. Co-Lin travels to Northeast Mississippi on Friday and will take on No. 11 ranked Itawamba on Saturday.

Co-Lin's Marko Knezevic upset No. 34 ranked Mikhail Percherkin of Hinds 6-4, 6-2 in No. 1 singles. The Wolfpack's other singles wins came at No. 5 and No. 6. John Calcote of Brookhaven defeated Eric Stubblefield of Hinds 6-3, 6-3 and Blaine Roberts of Co-Lin won by default.
Hinds' Nikita Lisov, ranked No. 20 nationally, defeated Co-Lin's Mario Huljev at No. 2 singles 6-0, 6-2. Donnell Myles of Hinds defeated Matt Hart at No. 3 6-0, 6-2 and Joseph Brashier of Hinds took care of Co-Lin's Joey Shelton 6-3, 6-4 in No. 4 singles.
In doubles action, Co-Lin's No. 2 team of Matt Hart and Marko Knezevic defeated Donnail Myles/Joseph Brashier 8-6 and No. 3 John Calcote/Jon McLeod won by default. The Hinds No. 1 team Nikita Lisov/Mikhail Percherkin, ranked No. 11 nationally, defeated Co-Lin's No. 1 Mario Huljev/Joey Shelton 8-3.

The Wolfpack made up for a season opening loss 5-4 to East Central by crushing them 7-2 in Forest. Co-Lin improves to 3-2 on the season.
The Wolfpack swept all of the doubles matches. Marion Huljev/John McLeod rallied from a 6-3 deficit to take an 8-6 win over East Central's Zac White/Jason Loris in No. 1 doubles. At No. 2 doubles, Marko Knezevic/ Matt Hart disposed of Matt Griffin/Danny Smith 8-4. Joey Shelton/Blaine Roberts defeated Walt Stinson/Josh Blackburn 8-4.
In singles action, No. 1 Marko Knezevic remained undefeated on the year by shuttin out East Central's Zac White 6-0, 6-0. Co-Lin's Mario Huljev got by Jason Loris 7-5, 6-2 at No. 2. Matthew Hart of Co-Lin defeated Danny Smith of East Central 7-5, 6-4 at No. 4 and Co-Lin's No. 5 Joey Shelton defeated EC's Walt Stinson 6-4, 6-0.
East Central took two wins in singles play. Matt Griffin defeated Co-Lin's Jon McLeod at No. 3 6-4, 6-1. East Central's Josh Blackburn got by Co-Lin's Blaine Roberts 6-4, 7-6 (7) at No. 6.
