Brian Moore
Head Coach

Brian Moore begins his second year as the coach of the women’s soccer team. He also serves as the assistant men’s coach.

Moore has been involved in youth and high school soccer in multiple roles for the past several years. He has served as president, coach, and referee for the Brookhaven Youth Soccer Organization (BYSO). He is currently serving as director of coaching for BYSO. He has also worked with the MHSAA as a referee for the past six years and achieved “Official of the Year” for the region in 2007.

Moore currently holds a “D” coaching license and states that he plans to continue to pursue additional certification and development in the future.

Moore is married to the former Kristyn Broussard of Berwick, La. They have two children, Sara and Hayden. They reside in Brookhaven and attend The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer where they are both very active. Moore serves as a Vestry member, and member of the finance and recreation committees.

Moore is also active in other projects in the community. He worked on the construction of Kids Kingdom Park and is active in the Brookhaven Little Theatre having served as a former board member.

 

Trey Woodham
Assistant Coach

Trey Woodham begins his first year at the helm of the men’s soccer team. He also serves as the assistant coach for the women’s team.

A graduate of Centenary College in Shreveport, La., Woodham received a bachelor of science in health and exercise science and is certified to teach secondary education. While at Centenary, he was a three-year starter for the men’s varsity soccer team.

After graduation, he spent three years as a physical  education instructor at St. Joseph Elementary in Shreveport. During that time, he also coached at the premiere level for the Shreveport Futbol Club, head women’s coach for Captain Shreve High School and Loyola College Prep. Woodham was named District Coach of the Year twice and City Coach of the Year once.

He has most recently lived in the Jackson area coaching for the Chicago Fire Juniors of Mississippi – winning the U11 Classic League State Championship this year.

Woodham holds a National D coaching license and plan to pursue his master’s degree this fall. He attends St. Francis Catholic Church in Brookhaven.
