Parker named MACCC Pitcher of the Week

JACKSON – Co-Lin's Peyton Parker has been named the Mississippi Association of Community College Conference's (MACCC) Pitcher of the Week. The sophomore from West Monroe, Louisiana, threw a four-hit shutout of Mississippi Gulf Coast on April 15. Parker struck out 11 and gave up no walks to lead the Wolves to a 3-0 win over the Bulldogs.

On the year, Parker is (2-3 overall, 2-2 in conference) has started nine games for the Wolves. He has made 12 appearances, pitched five complete games, recorded two saves and has a 3.98 ERA, second lowest on the team.
