Wolves Sophomore Earns Conference Honor

JACKSON – The Co-Lin Men's Basketball team saw a member of the Wolf Pack earn conference honors after a stellar first week of play. Sophomore guard Lerenzo Fort III was named the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday, November 9.

Trey is a Jackson native and shined for the Wolves in the first week of play as he scored a combined 63 points across the opening games including a 37-point game in the season opener against East Mississippi. Fort is averaging 31.5 points, per game, five rebounds per game, and 1.5 assists per game.

"Trey has set the tone early for our season," said Co-Lin head coach David Sanders. "He has struggled shooting the ball some, but his overall play has proven that he is more than just a scorer. The sky is the limit for this young man."
