PLYMOUTH, Ind. - Going into the final round of the NJCAA Men's DII National Tournament Co-Lin's two golfers, Lucas Brewer and Bryson Jones, are tied for 52nd and 82nd place respectively. Brewer fired his third straight round of 79 on Thursday to leap up several spots as Swan Lake Resort continues to play as a challenging course with wet conditions. Jones shot an 81 on Thursday, a four-shot improvement from Wednesday's round. The duo will tee off today for the final round of the event and look to finish strong as the more than six inches of rain that has hammered Swan Lake Resort begins to dry up.
Brewer posted a solid score on Thursday as the sophomore put 11 pars on the card. Brewer finished three over on the front and four over on the back as the birdies simply were not falling.
Jones started on the back nine on Thursday as tournament officials scrambled to make up lost time from the early rains. The freshman was three over on the back nine, his first nine holes of the day, and six over on the front. Jones scattered three birdies on the day to help lower the score.
