Wolves in fourth place after first day of Southwest Invitational

McCOMB, Mississippi - The Co-Lin Wolves are in fourth place after the first round of the Southwest Spring Invitational at Quail Hollow Golf Club in McComb. Northeast Mississippi is in the lead with a 296 followed by Mississippi Gulf Coast with a 299 and Meridian is in third with a 301. 

The Wolf Pack shot 319 to secure fourth place. Pearl River is one shot back at 320 followed by Itawamba at 322, East Central at 339, Southwest at 342, and East Mississippi at 356. 

Individually for Co-Lin Alex Navarro led the way with a 74 putting him in a tie for fifth place. Navid Mousavi shot a 3-over 75 as he's tied for ninth. Chandler Byrd and Tanner Harrison both shot 85 followed by Ty Nelson at 89.

Tate Dickerson of Northeast is the first round leader shooting a 2-under par 70 on the day.

The final round will be played tomorrow weather permitting.
