Co-Lin to host MACCC State Golf Championship

WESSON, Miss. - Co-Lin will host the Mississippi Association of Community College Conference (MACCC) State Golf Championship at beautiful Wolf Hollow Golf Club on Friday and Saturday, April 8 and 9. Wolf Hollow was set to host last year's state tournament, but work on the golf course moved the tournament to Meridian.

"We're looking forward to playing our home course," said Co-Lin golf coach Allen Kent. "It should definitely give us an advantage. We pretty much have everyone healthy now, so we're excited about the opportunity to host. We need all our guys to post two solid rounds."

The 2021 State Champion the Northeast Mississippi Community College Tigers will be on hand to defend their title. Joining Northeast are Mississippi Gulf Coast, Meridian, Itawamba, East Central, Southwest, Pearl River, Hinds and Co-Lin. 

Members of the Wolf Pack golf team are Ty Nelson of Monticello, Chandler Byrd of Wesson, Tanner Harrison of Brandon, Navid Mousavi of Castellion, Spain, and Alex Navarro of Valencia, Spain.
