Wolves Finish Third at Chris Clark Invitational

PHILADELPHIA – The Co-Lin Golf team returned to action playing in the Chris Clark Invitational at Dancing Rabbit on Monday, March 2, and Tuesday, March 3. The Wolves had their best performance of the season so far and finished in third place overall.

After the first day of competition the Wolves finished the day in second place shooting a +19 (307) as a team with Ben Kumlehn (Schwetzingen, Germany) led the way shooting a +2 (74). Leopold Griesheimer (Sankt Leon-Rot, Germany) was right behind him at +3 (75) while Max Seidemann (Bruchhausen-Vilsen, Germany) shot a +4 (76). Owen Siegfried (Brandon) shot a +10 (82) to round out the team scoring while Gabe Gennaro (Brookhaven) competed as an individual and shot a +15 (87).

On the second day of competition, the Wolves shot a +24 (312) to finish with a two-day total of +43 (619). Griesheimer was the leader on day two shooting a +4(76) to finish at +7(151) while Seidemann shot a +5(77) to finish at +9(153). Siegfried made a huge improvement shooting +6(78) on the second day to finish +16(160) while Kumlehn shot a +9(81) to finish +11(155). Gennaro finished his individual play by shooting a +18(90) to finish +43(177).

The third place finish comes off the heels of a tied for 6th place at the Tommy Snell Invitational at the end of February. The Wolves will be back in action at the Lou Hart Invitational at Northwood Country Club on Monday, March 23, and Tuesday, March 24.
