Wolves Continue Hot Start to Season

SUMMIT- The Co-Lin Men's Soccer team improved to 3-0-0 on the season and 1-0-0 in South Division play with a 1-0 victory over Southwest Mississippi Community College in the South Division opener for both teams.

The lone goal in the contest came in the 27th minute as freshman defender Eli Harrist (Brandon) found the back of the net during a corner kick play with an assist from sophomore midfielder Joel Ibanez (Isle of Man, England).

The Wolves then played exceptional defense allowing nine shots by Southwest over the 63 minutes of the contes with only four being on goal and the last five consecutive shots being off target sealing the 1-0 victory.

Sophomore goalkeeper Ben Parkinson (Bury, England) saved all seven shots on goal earning his first clean sheet of the year for the Wolves.

Co-Lin now turns their attention to the upcoming road contest against Meridian Community College, which continues South Division play for the Wolves. The action on the pitch is set to kickoff at 7 p.m.
