Wolves Stumble Against Bulldogs

RIDGELAND – The Co-Lin Men's Soccer team returned to MACCC play with a road match against Holmes on Tuesday, October 15. The Wolves dropped the match to the Bulldogs, 2-1.

The Bulldogs got on the board first as the scored in the early part of the first half to take a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute. However, the Wolves needed just four minutes to find a response as Matthew Barone (Florence) beat the Bulldogs keeper with an assist from Javion Roberts (Jackson) to tie the game at 1-1 in the 20th minute. The match looked to be headed to a 1-1 tie at halftime, but a penalty against the Wolves in the box allowed the Bulldogs to get a penalty kick which was converted for a 2-1 lead in the 44th minute.
