Blanchard named MACCC Pitcher of the Week

JACKSON – Freshman Cera Blanchard has been named the Mississippi Association of Community College Conference (MACCC) Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Blanchard, who prepped at De La Salle High School in Metairie, Louisiana, picked up two wins last week against Baton Rouge Community College 9-1 and Coahoma Community College 20-3. She tossed 5.1 shutout innings, allowed no runs, no hits, struck out three and walked one.
