After a scoreless fourth inning, the Lady Wolves closed the game with a pair of runs in the bottom of the fifth as Addison Lindley (Madison) reached base on an error in a pinch-hit appearance with one out while Madere then reentered the game to run. Stella Roberts (Raymond) then singled to put two runners on with one out for the Lady Wolves. After both runners advanced to scoring position on a groundout by Chisolm, Emilie Williams hit a pinch-hit, walk-off, two-RBI single scoring Madere and Roberts to seal the 8-0 victory.
