For the sixth year in a row, the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Lady Wolves have won their second semester opener. The Lady Wolves rolled past the Southern Arkansas University Tech Lady Rockets in Mullen Gymnasium to move to 9-1, 0-1 on the year before heading into MACJC play.
Behind strong performances from starters Sha’Quandra Carter, TaMara Riley, Darien Tubby, and Azaria Magee off the bench, the Lady Wolves cruised by Southern Arkansas University Tech Lady Rockets, 103-77.
Despite two starters fouling out and rebounding woes, the Lady Wolves of Copiah-Lincoln Community College escaped J.T. Hall Coliseum in Moorhead, Miss. with an 87-68 victory over the Mississippi Delta Community College Lady Trojans.
he Copiah-Lincoln Community College Lady Wolves picked up a big road victory on Friday as the team defeated the Delgado Community College Lady Dolphins, 82-40. The win moves the Lady Wolves to 5-0 on the year.
The Copiah-Lincoln Community College Lady Wolves poured in 51 points in the second half to solidify an 86-61 win over the LSU-Eunice Lady Bengals in Co-Lin’s second and final matchup of the Southwest Mississippi Community College Coca-Cola Classic tournament.
The Copiah-Lincoln Community College Lady Wolves finished last season 24-5 overall and were runners-up in both the MACJC State Championship and the NJCAA Region XXIII Tournament. Head Coach Gwyn Young and his staff have built a program that has expectations of deep playoff runs year in and year out and 2018 looks to be no different.
