McGee leads Southwest over Co-Lin

SUMMIT – Shylia McGee scored a game-high 25 points to lead the Southwest Lady Bears to a 69-56 win over the Co-Lin Lady Wolves.

The Lady Wolves got off to a fast start as they held a 20-17 lead after the first quarter. Southwest would answer outscoring Co-Lin to take a 34-31 at halftime.

The Lady Bears would outscore Co-Lin 34-25 in the second half to take the 69-56 win.

Southwest out shot Co-Lin from the field 46 percent to 36 percent. Both teams shot 23 percent from three-point range. Southwest outrebounded Co-Lin 43-27.

-chipped in 10 points. Jaklylah Esco led on the boards with nine rebounds.

For Southwest, Sydni Tangle and Jerryonne Owens added 17 and 10 points respectively.
