Palfreman Signs with Senior College

WESSON – The Co-Lin Women's Soccer team recently celebrated one of their own as Mickie Palfreman signed with Mississippi University for Women to continue her playing career.

Palfreman, a native of London, England, played in 13 games for the Lady Wolves with six starts. As a defender, Palfreman had one assist on the season accounting for one total point while also posting three shots with two on goal during the season. In the 2020-21 Spring season, Palfreman played in 10 games with nine starts and had one goal accounting for two points. The goal was the game winning goal for the Lady Wolves against Southwest.

"Mickie has been a key member of the team for the last two seasons," stated Co-Lin head coach Tom Cosgrave. "She has put in some excellent performances in defense as well as maintaining a 4.0 in the classroom throughout her time here. She has an excellent head on her shoulders and will be successful in life whatever she does."

Palfreman is the first Co-Lin Women's Soccer player that coaches Tom Cosgrave and Patrick Ross have had to sign with a senior college.
