Wolves Drop Game Against Bucs

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Co-Lin Men's Basketball team hit the road to face off against Shelton State on Monday, November 24. The Buccaneers beat the Wolves, 65-55.

The Wolves kept the game close in the first half as the Bucs outscored them, 29-27, to hold a lead by that margin at the end of play. However, the second half saw the Bucs outscores the Wolves, 36-28, to seal the 65-55 win.

Tyrell Bowles (Springdale, MD) led the way for the Wolves with a double-double of 13 points and 15 rebounds with 13 of those being defensive boards while Moustapha Salekh (Ngekoh, Senegal) had 12 points with three rebounds, one steal, and one block. Koie Williams (Philadelphia) just missed a double-double with 11 points and eight assists along with four rebounds and two steals.

Caleb Crozie (Yazoo City) and Morris Hammond (Ridgeland) had six points each, LeBron Deal (Monroe, LA) had five points, while Tristian Lucas (Pearl) had two points to round out the scoring for the Wolves.

Co-Lin is now 4-5 overall and will return to action on the road against Southern-Shreveport on Saturday, December 6. Tip-off between the Wolves and the Jaguars is set for 3 p.m., in Shreveport.
